| WHAT IS DESHEDDING? |
Glad you asked. "De-shedding" is a term coined right here at Transformation
Pet Center to refer to the process of ridding the coat of excess dead hair.
All dogs shed to some extent or another, some profusely at seasonal times of
the year, some like German Shepards and my smooth coated Jack Russell
Terrier, shed year round. We can't stop the shedding, but we sure know how
to remove it from your pet.
Our motto is "The Hair Stays Here!".
We do this by cleaning and conditioning the coat to
soften and loosen it and then
blow it out with high velocity dryers, rake it, brush it, comb
it....whatever it takes to get to the bottom of the seemingly bottomless
hair pit that is your pet.
It is the combination of products, tools, and
know-how that allows us to achieve fantastic results. For many thick coated
dogs and cats, deshedding is all they need to be prepared for our Arizona
summers. And we do this while creating the minimal stress and discomfort
for your best friend.

Puppies like little Yeti are
given exxxtra special care and a loving beginning to the grooming part of
life. Our emphasis is on getting acquainted with the groomer and the
procedures. It is really best when puppies come for their first grooming
around 12-16 weeks old. This is the best time for all socialization to
occur. A special puppy session will last only an hour or two at the most. |
